Steroid injections in the hip and knee may damage joints

An article was released by the Radiological Society of North America today, warning that corticosteroid injections may be associated with complications that lead to joint collapse and acceleration of osteoarthritis, potentially leading to the requirement for knee and hip replacements much sooner.  They also advise patients should be told of the consequences of these injections.

Well that is not good news if you have sore joints!

But, here’s the thing.  There are measures you can take, which can help with the inflammation and pain of joints.  And it doesn’t involve painful injections into the joints.
